Avidemux is currently the most used video editing software in Linux System. Its quite simple and powerful video editor software for Linux. Avidemux support most video formats like AVI, DVD compatible MPEG files, MP4 and ASF, using a variety of codecs. Avidemux is currently also available for MAC, Windows.
