Free instant messenger for Linux, Galaxium 0.7.4.1

Galaxium is an open source instant messaging in Linux environment and specially designed for Gnome. Galaxium has interactive interface, easy to use and powerful. It can be an alternative to Yahoo messenger or Pidgin.

Galaxium  will allow you to connect to MSN, Jabber, GTalk and IRC (also working on Yahoo, AIM/ICQ, GaduGadu and Facebook) through the use of addins. You can communicate with your family, friends and co-workers from around the world, using different networks!
Galaxium was originally started in 2003 by Adam Peck and Philippe Durand, students of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Now it is actively being worked on by Philippe Durand, Ben Motmans and Paul Burton.
